TOO BAD! ‘Banker hires assassins to kill her ex-husband in Lagos’

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested two suspected hired-assassins and a female banker over failed attempt to assassinate her ex-husband identified as Tochukwu Onyebuchi.
The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu paraded the suspects at the command’s headquarters in Abeokuta on Wednesday.
He said the banker, Oluchi Tochukwu, hired the suspected criminals to assassinate her husband in his residence at Ayobo area of Lagos State.
Iliyasu named the two suspected assassins as Chigozie Smart (32) and Kingsley Ikechukwu (36).
He said they were intercepted and arrested on Oct. 19 at Ijebu-Ode while attempting to escape to Onitsha with the victim’s Range Rover Jeep.
He said Oluchi was arrested at Ayobo area of Lagos State.
He said, “One Oluchi, a 32-year-old banker, who is married to one Tochukwu Onyebuchi years ago, got separated from her husband following some matrimonial problems.
“The custody of their only child is currently being contested in the court but Oluchi has another plan.
“She connived with the trio of Chigozie Smart, Kingsley Ikechukwy and one other who is now at large to eliminate her husband.
“She arranged for the weapons which includes cutlass, iron rods and acid which she kept in her husband’s compound at Ayobo area of Lagos State and described where she kept it to the assailants.
“The suspects went there on Wednesday as planned and matcheted the man severally on his head and poured the acid on him.
“The suspects thereafter abandoned the victim and took away his range Rover Jeep which Oluchi instructed them to drop at her brother’s place in Onitsha, Anambra State.
“Luck ran against them when a patrol team of the Ogun State command on Wednesday sighted the vehicle along the Ijebu-Ode/Benin expressway and stopped it for search.
“While searching the vehicle, blood stain was seen and the two occupants were unable to give satisfactory account of the blood stain, hence, they were arrested.
“It was during interrogation that the suspects revealed all that transpired to the police.”
The commissioner said that the victim, who had been treated at an undisclosed hospital, was in the custody of the police helping them in the process of investigation.
Oluchi, however, denied contracting the duo of Chigozie and Kingsley and one other at large to assassinate her husband.
Oluchi, who acknowledged that her three-year-old marriage to her husband had crashed, told journalists that she had no reason to kill him.
Meanwhile, Chigozie told newsmen that it was Oluchi who hired them to kill her husband with a promise to purchase “Tokunbo” cars for each of them after a successful operation.

Ways You can Prepare Your Business For The Holiday Season

Holiday is coming… Holiday is coming… Yes, we all love our holidays. But wait a second: Are you an entrepreneur or an employee? Yes you should be excited about it but depending on the kind of business you are engaged in, it may be very hectic and busy. And it is also a period to rake in the cash!
However, this may be impossible because if you shabbily prepare for the festive season, it will affect your cash flow. Jumia Travel recognizes this and that’s why we are rolling out tips on how to prep your business for the holidays. So, whether you are in the hotel, retail or eCommerce business, you should vigorously plan for the winding down of the year.
Create your holiday offers
It is not wrong to say that Nigerians are likely to spend more during the festive period. Tap into this by offering reasonable discounts, vouchers and the best price. You can also offer customers promotion like buy 3 get 1 free. You shouldn’t wait till December before kicking off your holiday offers. Jumia Travel has fantastic travel packages for the holidays. You should also send these offers via your newsletter to your customers.
Take advantage of last year’s data
Data is important for any business. It shows you if your business is growing or shrinking. It is this same data (campaign, sales, website traffic, channels, and competitors) that will reveal the things you did excellently well or you did poorly. Your business should make deductions from this data and make necessary adjustments. You should also consider the impact of the trending recession.
Make your employees feel the festive season by creating a different atmosphere both offline and online. Your office and website should be decorated to reflect the season. This can also help!

Disclose your holiday hours
Customers may not inform you when they want to make purchases. If he is one of your loyal customers, he will be utterly disappointed if you are not open for business. Hence, you should send emails to your clients informing them of days you will be closed for business. This information should also be on your website.
Decide which marketing channel you want to use
The channel to reach your customers is essential. Some organizations may prefer to do both online and offline marketing while others strictly focus on online marketing. Your budget is key to determining which one to use.
Make your employees ‘happy’
The biggest motivation for employees is for them to be paid as at when due for the job done. They will be willing to give their best and work extra hours. So, employee motivation is key.

Unrepentant Grandpa Arrested For Producing Fake Dollars In Lagos (Photo)

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 60-year-old man, Highsent Nwogu, for allegedly producing dollars worth N3m and defrauding residents of the Ogba area.

Nwogu, a father of five children and grandfather of three, told Punch Metro that he ventured into the “washing” of fake dollars to make ends meet.

Punch learnt that Nwogu, who hails from the Umuahia-South Local Government Area of Abia State, used a rented apartment on Abimbola Street, College Road, Ogba, for illegal production of the dollars.

Punch Metro learnt that Nwogu would ask his victims to buy some goods from overseas, and thereafter offered to get dollars for them to pay for the goods. The suspect allegedly gave his victims the fake dollars.

It was gathered that a victim of the suspect, identified as Hellen Olajide, who was defrauded of about N1.95m, reported the matter at the Area G Command, Ogba, and Nwogu was thereafter arrested.

The police said fake dollars worth N3m, chemicals and water drums allegedly used by the suspect were recovered from his apartment.

Speaking with Punch Metro, the grandpa said he began the business four years ago.

He admitted defrauding the lady of N1m, adding that he had refunded N400,000.

Nwogu said, “I used a room in my house to wash the dollars. My wife and children were not aware until the police arrested me.

“My clients did not suspect anything. I started currency production about four years ago. I have been arrested by the police on two occasions. This is the third time. I learnt how to produce the money in the Iyana Ipaja area.

“It was in August that I met Hellen (Olajide). When she found out that I had defrauded her of over N1m, she threatened to call the police, but I assured her that I would refund the money. She later called the police to arrest me.

“I want the government to forgive me. I collected N10,000 from my first victim, N30,000 from my second victim and N50,000 from another. I have three persons working with me; I used the money to solve my family problems.”

The victim, Olajide, said she paid the money in three instalments after Nwogu and his accomplices had hypnotised her to pay for the goods.

She said, “I was returning from work on that day, when three men accosted me and said I should follow them to a place to transact business. They said they were into importation and exportation of goods such as computer sets and Brazilian hair.

“I am sure they used some charms because it was after paying money the third time into a bank account I was given that my senses came back.

“It was after a month that I cried to the police for help. I want the syndicate to return my money, which is N1,992,000.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, had directed that the suspect be charged to court.

She said, “The command learnt of the case, after which operatives trailed and arrested the suspect. He belongs to a syndicate that defrauds members of the public who want them to create wealth. We are on the trail of the accomplices.”

Black Promising Actor Jailed 8 Years After S3xually Attacking Women

Actor Nyakeh Kpaka, 26 (left), who appeared in hit TV show Broadchurch, has been jailed for eight years at Woolwich Crown Court after being convicted of three sex attacks on two women.

Kpaka, was regarded as a promising young black actor with a bright future ahead of him after appearing in a number of popular crime and detective dramas including ITV's Broadchurch where he starred alongside David Tennant and Olivia Colman, playing the criminal son of a lawyer who has been locked up for six years (right).

But in real life he was a 'dangerous sexual predator' who targeted lone women at parties, sexually assaulting victims while they lay sleeping, it can now be revealed.

In May 2015, Kpaka attended a house party in Blackheath, South East London where he later crept into a bed where a woman was sleeping and sexually assaulted her twice. A second victim came forward in September last year claiming she had also been sexually assaulted by Kpaka in similar circumstances when she fell asleep at a different house party in Finsbury Park. Too sad!

Nigerian Dance Queen Kaffy Apologizes For Calling Out Davido, Others

Just after coming on IG to rant about how Davido and other artitses have been disrespecting dancers, Kaffy has come out again to apologize for the rants, saying it’s never her way but she just had to do it. Some of her followers however felt the apology wasn't necessary because she did the right thing and who ever advised her to apologize will make people miss the point and dancers will keep being disrespected. Continue…

Kaffy’s apology

I want to start by apologizing profusely for my profanity. It's not how I roll .i am one person who promote discipline and respect among dancers towards their clients and one another.
However this isssue is REAL. We MATTER and deserve respect as we have become part of the building block of the entertainment world.
We communicate with our bodies what words and sound can't express. We paint a picture that defies laws of nature ND produce masterpieces beyond mere imaginations.
It requires a lot of brain power to begin to be a dancer not to talk of the ability to command muscles people can't imagine using and that is still underrating the Power of the Art of Dance.
From youth empowerment to mind empowerment it is the least looked into form of psychological, physical and spiritual reformation.
And I can categorically tell u alot of lives have been changed for the better because we danced.
So WE MATTER. beyond the dance floor we matter against all odds of societal definition of success we matter, thrive and we rule.
So it is time we take control and have a voice. Create structure that will protect us from further disrespect and I will do all in my power to continue to protect dancers.I know great minds out there in our world that will rise up too. It's been years and I have been quiet for too long.
And this is not just in Africa it's everywhere.
Davido was just the last didn't start with him but we can put a stop.
Thank you to all who support this fight. God bless #Dancers #Dancetrepenuers #Danceteachers #Dancelovers #Dancemoms #Dancedads

Clinton's Syria Plan Will Lead To World War Three- Trump

Donald Trump has said Hillary Clinton could bring about "World War Three", claiming her plan for Syria will create conflict between the US and Russia.

In an interview, Mr Trump said defeating Isis is more important for him than persuading Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to resign.

"What we should do is focus on Isis. We should not be focusing on Syria," Mr Trump said. "You're going to end up in World War Three over Syria if we listen to Hillary Clinton."

"Assad is secondary, to me, to Isis," he said, adding that the Syrian President was far stronger than he had been three years ago.

"You're not fighting Syria any more, you're fighting Syria, Russia and Iran, all right? Russia is a nuclear country, but a country where the nukes work as opposed to other countries that talk."

Mr Trump also slammed Ms Clinton's handling of US-Russian relations, questioning her ability to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin after heavily criticising him.

"How she is going to go back and negotiate with this man who she has made to be so evil?" he said.
Ms Clinton has supported the creation of a no fly zone and “safe zones” on the ground in Syria, which in the third presidential debate she said would "save lives and hasten the end of the conflict".

Responding to Mr Trump's comments, a spokesman for Ms Clinton said both Republican and Democratic national security experts have criticised Mr Trump as unfit to be commander-in-chief.

"Once again, he is parroting Putin's talking points and playing to Americans' fears, all while refusing to lay out any plans of his own for defeating Isis or alleviating humanitarian suffering in Syria," Clinton spokesman Jesse Lehrich said in a statement.

Patience Jonathan Supporters Besiege Lagos Court

Women numbering over 100 on Wednesday stormed the Federal High Court in Lagos, chanting solidarity songs on the freezing order placed on the bank accounts of ex-First Lady, Mrs Patience Jonathan.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had on Sept. 22 ordered the freezing of some bank accounts belonging to Jonathan.

The Commission had said the action was due to the ongoing investigation into the alleged money laundering charge preferred against her.

Meanwhile, Jonathan in a fundamental rights suit instituted against the EFCC, is asking for a court order, directing the unfreezing of her accounts.

She is also claiming the sum of 200 million dollars against the commission as damages for allegedly infringing on her fundamental rights.

On Wednesday, women numbering over 100, who dressed in traditional attire with head gears, stormed the premises of the Federal High Court in Lagos to protest the freezing order.

The placard-carrying women, chanted songs in Ijaw and English Languages.

Some of the inscriptions read: “Ijaw people are in solidarity with Jonathan”, “Unfreeze ex-President Jonathan’s wife’s account”, “We urge EFCC to abide by the rule of law”, “Women must be heard.”

Immediately after the court rose, the women trooped in their numbers toward a vehicle belonging to the EFCC, chanting solidarity songs.

Meanwhile, Justice Babs Kuewumi has fixed Dec. 7 for the hearing of the suit.

Lagos Landlord’s Son Beats Tenant’s Wife To Coma + He Is Used To Beating Wives Of Tenants

Aswear education is key! what? what what?? Lol. You need to read this story first, one of the women said Jimoh is used to beating us, the victim also said it is not the first time the said guy will beat her. If she had reported him to the authorities in the first place, would he have tried it again? Now just see what's left of her above.

Doctors at Araba Medical Hospital in Abule-Egba area of Lagos are trying their best on a newly-wedded woman, who was allegedly stabbed many times by her landlord’s son for allowing a man, considered as an enemy of the landlord, into her apartment at Ishaga Street.

The visitor was said to have been banned from entering the house by the landlord. The victim, Mrs. Taiwo Kehinde, however, expressed gratitude to God for bringing her out of coma. According to her, “my landlord’s son, Jimoh Yusuf, attacked me right inside my apartment with broken bottles. My sin was that my husband allowed one of his friends into our apartment.

“I was returning from my shop last Friday, when I met this family friend, Monday Michael, who lives opposite us. He told me to leave the house that my husband and our landlord’s son were quarrelling.

“I decided to go inside and change into something else. The family friend left for his house, while I entered our apartment.

“I was trying to change my wears when Jimoh barged inside and started shouting. He said

‘I have told you and your husband that I don’t want to see that man (family friend) anywhere close to this house. But you wouldn’t obey. I am going to kill you before your husband comes back’.

“Before I knew it, he broke the bottles in his hands and started stabbing me all over my body, until I passed out. This is not the first time he has beaten me. I am not his wife, neither am I related to him.”

Her husband, Mayowa Kehinde, traced the genesis of his problem with the suspect to the visit of Michael, few hours before his wife was attacked.

He said: “My friend, Monday, came to visit me that day. But when my landlord saw him, he ordered him to leave his house, even when I tried to explain that he was my visitor and that we have known each other long before I moved into his house.

“I reluctantly saw my friend off at about 9p.m. By then, my wife was not back. On my way back, I was welcomed with shouts by my neighbours to quickly rush in, that Jimoh wanted to kill my wife.

“When I rushed inside, my wife was in a pool of her blood, while Jimoh still held onto the broken bottles. I held him as he tried to escape from the scene, while a woman rushed to the police station to report the incident the matter.”

Neighbours’ reaction

When Vanguard visited the couple’s residence, neighbours alleged that the suspect was always attacking them, particularly the women. One of them, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said:

“We have suffered untold pains in the hands of Jimoh but this is the height.

“The most painful aspect of it is that his parents are always supporting him. If you attempt to call the police, they will threaten to issue you quit notice.”

Effort to get the reaction of the Lagos State Police Command spokesman on the matter failed as she did not respond to a text message sent to her. However, police sources hinted that the suspect had been arrested and charged to court on Wednesday from where he was remanded at the Kirikiri Medium Security Prison over failure to meet the bail conditions.

LOL! Karena Virginia Becomes 10th Woman To Accuse Trump Of Sexual Misconduct

A yoga instructor and lifestyle coach came forward Thursday with claims that Donald Trump had inappropriate sexual contact with her, becoming at least the 10th woman to make such allegations against the GOP nominee.

Flanked by women's rights attorney Gloria Allred, a Hillary Clinton supporter who has represented other women with sexual misconduct claims against Trump, Karena Virginia shared her story, tears streaming down her cheeks.

She said she first encountered Donald Trump in 1998, as she was waiting for a car service to pick her up after the U.S. Open tennis tournament in Queens, New York.

"I knew who he was, but I had never met him. He was with a few other men," she said at a press conference in New York Thursday. "I was quite surprised when I overheard him talking to the other men about me. He said, 'Hey, look at this one, we haven't seen her before. Look at those legs.' As though I was an object, rather than a person."

"He then walked up to me and reached his right arm and grabbed my right arm, then his hand touched the right inside of my breast. I was in shock. I flinched," she continued.

Trump then asked her, "Don't you know who I am? Don't you know who I am?" she said.

After she got into her car, the "shock turned to shame," Virginia said. She said that for years she felt she was to blame for the incident because she was wearing a short dress and high heels at the time.

"I have been fearful of bringing unwanted attention to my loving family and me," Virginia said. "But in the end, I feel that it is my duty as a woman, as a mother, a human being and as an American citizen to speak out and tell the truth."

Virginia is "not considering a lawsuit at this time," Allred said, but wanted to speak out in response to Trump's "ludicrous" denial of the allegations against him. Allred served as an elected delegate during the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia for Clinton in July.

Virginia added that she had another encounter with Trump more recently.

"About five years ago, I saw Mr. Trump once again. This time, we were at a business setting and there were many people around. He looked me up and down a few times. This time, mixed in with the feelings of shame, I felt disgust," she said.

Her claim is the latest in a string from accusers against Trump. Trump has fervently denied the accusations, in some cases going so far as to joke that the women accusing him aren't attractive enough for his taste.

Through exam script, Nekede poly female student begs lecturer to give her good grades in exchange for sex (PHOTOS)

A obviously dull, female student of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State thought she could get better grades by offering sex to her lecturer. Perhaps the lecturer is one of these stony faced sorts, so instead of approaching him directly, she wrote her offer, in barely legible handwriting, on her answer sheet during examinations.

She wrote: "Please sir help me out so that we can have sex. Call my number if you are interested for business."

Wow. Just wow.

Has Pre-degree And Diploma Been Scaped? Read Below

Pre-degree and diploma programmes in Nigerian universities have been scrapped. The National Universities Commission (NUC), which took the action, instructed them to leave the running of such programmes for polytechnics and concentrate effort on producing human capital in the core undergraduate, part-time and post-graduate courses.

Read statement below:

“A comprehensive review of the entire university curricula (the Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards (BMAS)) and ranking of Nigerian universities have also been scheduled for 2017, while two of the cardinal activities of the commission, accreditation of programmes and resource verification, will now take place only twice and thrice a year, respectively: May and November for accreditation as well as March, July and December for resource verification.”
NUC also warned that any university that failed to present its programmes for accreditation promptly without satisfactory reasons, given well in advance, would be denied same and the relevant agencies (JAMB and NYSC) duly notified.
“The accreditation of part-time programmes would ensure that they are of the same quality as the full-time programmes, thereby restoring public confidence in them,” it said.
